Here's how I fuel mine now, instead of getting a hernia lifting cans or splashing gas on my seats and floor and stinkin' up the inside of the Bug. Only wish it had a bigger tank.

THAT'S COOL!
I assume it takes a long time to fill up through such a small tube. About how long does it take?
The filter is really a good idea.
I think I might steal your idea. I could use my present electric fuel pump and switch by just adding a couple of valves, some fuel line and a quick disconect fitting.

It takes awhile, Texas Ken, but I do it when I know I'll be hanging around the hangar. If planning a trip, do it the evening before. I'm sure that there are faster pumps, but I had this one laying around and put it to use.

Ken,
Is the filler line to the tank the hole you were posting about? How did you drill the hole without getting cuttings in the tank?

Larry, I followed someone's instructions to coat the drill-bit in grease and drill very, very slowly. Worked like a charm.
