To anyone in central/south Florida,

This is a huge long shot, but If you don't ask, you might never know. OK, here goes:
I've decided that I don't want to do my crow hopping on grass. So I'm looking for a paved runway to use for my unregistered ultralight Gyrobee. My only option so far is to trailer my machine from Bradenton, Fla. to Wauchula each day I want to practice. Is there ANYONE who could let me keep my machine set up in their hangar at a paved strip TEMPORARILY. I'm open to ANY option. I'll pay rent. I'll clean your hangar (did I really say that?) I'll even work in some on -site guitar lessons.

Try Imokalee and LaBelle (ops I should have located Bradenton before posting)
Now I know where you are . . .there is a place just outside Ernie's place that seems suitable, just don't know if it is private, check it out!Heron

Heron,

I was up at Ernie's today and saw the grass strip close to the highway. Is that what you are talking about? Also, I'm lgoing to try for a paved strip.

Thanks for your reply.

I was not sure that it was paved anyways . . .
There is another that is paved further east towards Lakeland, can't remember the name but it was used during Sun-N-Fun, its west of the Regional.
I miss my Streets & Trips . . .

Thanks Heron. That's about two hours from home. I sure would like to find something closer though. And it's the hangar sharing that I'm really after.

Anybody else have space at least temporarily?

I can offer a space in my hangar but you need to come down to PR. I can pull my old gretsch guitar and we can play and have a good time . I have not played in 15 years but will love to revive the feeling.

Chuck, If I'm coming that way, I'll be sure to look you up. Actually I was in PR 20 years ago doing a USO tour with my band.

Rick,
If you're ever up in the Jacksonville area give me a call. You can park the Bee in my hangar. It'll look right at home.
