Can anyone recommend a pitch setting for a 60" 3 bladed Warp Drive prop used on a Rotax 503 that they might be using.

Frank, if this is for a light weight machine, I would probably start around 11.5 degrees, then pitch it to the rpm you want the engine to max out at. Tie it off and get between 6,000 and 6,200 on the ground before you fly it, IMO.

There are too many variables for anyone to tell you what pitch to set them to.

Thanks Chuck, I will give that a try. Its a stock Bensen that I have been flying and just had Warp Drive install metal edges on the prop, and was playing with the pitch.

Frank, you're more than welcome. Let us know what pitch it works out to be.

Also, when you get a chance, please update your profile sheet with a minimum of your first and last names and the city and state in which you reside. More info would be appreciated, but not requirred.

Thank you Frank, and WELCOME to the forum!

Chuck, 11 degrees is working pretty good and will experiment some and see what happens.
