I could spend days sitting here getting fatter, watching Youtube. So many videos!

Here is one I found tonight that was pretty cool. Makes me kinda wish I had joined the armed forces when I had a chance at it. At 18 I would have done anything to avoid being a solder, now I wish I had done it for the experiences. Anyway, cool video.... There is a airplane or two in it

Heck I just dug a little deeper and it looks like these same guys have a couple more videos! Very crafty I might say!!!

Those videos are awesome!! Glad to see they have a good time and don't go stir crazy being out there for sooooo long.
I used to think 12 hr missions on the B52 were bad... I couldn't imagine being stuck on a ship for 6 months or so.

Gotcha now Ron. Gettin' fatter eh ? Next time you cannot get someone's experimental Gyro out of ground effect ..... we will bring this post back to haunt you ....... Ha..!!

I'm Just trying to be funny Ron , hope it comes across that way. I read all of your posts & enjoy & learn. Thank you.

I bet the military wishes you would have joined also .... you would probably be a test pilot and you would hire some gyro pilot to cut your grass on the weekends.....?

Talk about military flying .... have you read the book "Low Level Hell" about an OH6 (Hughes 369) pilot in Vietnam . What a story. Amazing pilot.

Arnie, just what is that critter perched on your shoulder.? If a monkey, it must be close to the ugliest one I’ve ever seen.

Hi Chuck . Its a ****zu dog (can I use that word on this forum?..ha..) I picked her up 9 years ago when she was a tiny pup. On the drive home she jumped on my shoulders and has been there ever since. Goes everywhere with me and has never fallen off. Heated fur collar for Canadian winters.

Looks like I cant use that word. Got edited out. I think I will start calling it a bathroom language dog :)

Good one !!

I originally posted this picture under Chucks recalcitrant (sp?) duck walk thread. Recalcitrant refers to people or animals who sometimes know the right thing to do yet stubbornly refuse . Something like that.

That particular day the photo was taken , I was arguing with my fur collar about whether it could accompany me to the restaurant.

Arnie, I think it'll pass as Shi Tzu.
I have a half one, the other half is terrior. He looks just exactly like the movie dog Benji and is a real clown. Makes me laugh every time I look at him!:D

Arnie, I see from reading your profile that you're a helicopter history buff.

The Discovery channel had an excellent series on helicopter history 10 or so years ago that I managed to tape. It extensively documents Arthur Young's and Sikorski's early efforts as well as that of a number of other pioneers.

If you'd like a DVD copy, send me your postal address: cabeaty@att.net

Arnie Madsen walks into a bar with his Shi tzu on his shoulder.
The bartender say's "man, he's beautiful, where did you find him?"
The Shi Tzu replies "Canada, they're all over"

Thanks Ron, burned an hour or two myself. I passed these along to my military friends. Nicely done for sure.
