R22 blades

I heard that R22 main rotor blades are now limited to<br>1500 hours in Australia. Anyone have any knowledge<br>about that? If that is true where can I get hold of some<br>of these blades?<br>Thank You<br><br>Hennie Roets

That is correct Hennie. Apparently a few peopple are cheating on the hours, particularly in the outback remote areas, and one R22 lost a blade.<br><br>The life has been shortened by 700 hours I believe. A guy refueled at my airport last week in a nice looking R22 and he was not a happy chappy that he had to change his blades the next week. He was racing around the countryside using up some hours!!!!<br><br>I will see if I can find some emails for some Oz Robinson dealers.<br><br>Aussie Paul.
