Can someone tell me how to resize my pictures to get them on the forum? I have coral paint shop and I go to resize and it is way to small.

Make sure you're saving the photos as jpg's and not bitmaps. The size I use normally is 800x600 pixels and when I save them with my software it allows me to adjust the data size it will be saved at to get it below the 150kb limit for posting photos. A lot of people use Irfanview to edit their photos. It's a free download:

Also, if you want you can email them to me and I will be happy to reduce them for you.
.
I really need to be spoon fed because none of this is helping me. I can email them down sized but can not get them on the forum.

If you email them to Tim O. email them before you downsize them. How are you downsizing them? What format do you save them as?
I am using corel paint shop pro x.

Matthew,
If you have already resized the pictures below the 150K limit, try this link to get them uploaded to the Forum:
Inserting Pictures 101 (http://www.rotaryforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1274&highlight=inserting+pictures)
I can get them to the forum I just can't resize them from my corel paint shop pro x. Otherwise I do know how to post them.

Matthew,
I don't know anything about Corel, but the Irfanview program Tim mentioned in post #2 is easy to use and free to download.

I use Irfranview, but I have a hard time hitting the 150K limit, I can't find the relationship between resizing and Kilo count.

Try pasting your picture to the Paint, you will see the real size of your picture. Bigger Kilobyte means bigger picture I believe.
You can also resize pictures in the Paint as long as it is in jpeg.

I use Photoshop Elements and it has a SAVE FOR WEB option that allows you to resize to any dimension and then automatically reduces the size for web uploading. It gives you the kb size and shows how long it would take to download them using dial up.
I'm pretty sure Corel has a similar function.
Try looking in the task bar under edit and see if it has a
"save as" or "save for web" option.

I down loaded triscape fxfoto from this thread but still can't even find anything about down sizeing a photo. It just can't be this hard. Getting tired of playing with it for hours.
