In the article by Greg Greminger on sport pilot requirements, there is a part that says that the Practical Test may be conducted by a sp/cfi or cfi with the exception of single place unit from the ground. Question is, Greg, who can perform the observation test from the ground if they cant? That was the only part of the article that was unclear to me. Perhaps I misread it. Thanks

It's referenced in FAA-S-8081-29, with Change-1, page 9-10.
Only an examiner, either from an FAA FSDO or a DPE.

Only an examiner, either from an FAA FSDO or a DPE. :lol: Don't let the FAA hear you refer to an Inspector from the local FSDO as an "Examiner." I made that mistake... once. :director: You never hear the end of it afterwards.
