I guess most of you have heard about Bills Galloping gyro problem and got the email with the picture of the rotor bushing. He has new bushings and reports the gyro is flying fine again.
I received my AWC today.
Scott said they lost his paper work and Manuel has his pod on, ready to apply for AWC.
Thanks to information from Rod, My 40 hrs flyoff is reduced to 25 hrs. Got a few today, maybe I can get 4 in tomorrow.

Hi Tim
I tell you the truth. I did not have time to take a picture, Miles had a camera and I wanted to get some pictures of his new drop keel gyro. I was busy changing tires and wrapping wires. I really did not want to get into trouble flying without my cert. so I only did an ground adjustment pass. it may have gone off the ground just a little. I flew yesterday from 1pm to about 4 pm. I want to fly today, but I have to catch up work that I missed to get my AWC done on Friday. I have a little video of yesteday but its boring. Just making the necessary trim adjs. to the gyro. Man the 582 had a little kick in pants yesterday. I think I will like it better than the Mac.

Yes,
I finally have a gyro , that I can trailer unload, set up rotors and go flying without wondering, will it start today, or will it seize today. But that Mac was a great little gyro to learn on. Very forgiving on ground roll and light enough to get out of trouble fast.
I am looking a 503 version of the KB 4 just for comparison. As soon as I get a chance to fly it, I will start on the big yellow thing, that takes up all my shop space.
