Just sent away for my dominator plans, and hope to start building myself a gyro this winter. I have read quite a bit on the forum about a single place dominators with larger air frame to accommodate a prop bigger than 60". I spoke to Ernie and was told in a nut shell it is just a matter of stretching the measurements for the air frame. I plan to fabricate most of the air frame myself so doing this should not be a big deal. I am a pretty big guy 6'4" 235lbs and only plan to build one gyro. So I would like to build the best one i can, I'm not a 100% on the power plant yet the Subaru sound appealing because I could get many of the parts for next to nothing, and I am an auto tech by trade, 618 rotax If I could find one. or would a new 582 be enough. I plan to have the Pod and windshield, any suggestions on prop size and motor combination would be welcome, this will be my first gyro and I would rather build one that I can grow into as I get experience that grow out of.

I would call Ernie and see what He recommends, he has been doing this for a long time, and the dominator has had every kind of rotax installed, and different subaru configurations.
