Before pics of my 532 AC

Here are some "before" pics of my AC 532 ship. I have a long way to go before being airworthy, but it will be an interesting project.

More pics of the ship. (I have a brand new windshield ready to go on
after the painting is completed).

More pictures - still more work to be done! First is to replace that
bent heim bolt that you can clearly see is bent in the picture.
Next will be to go over the rotorhead and possibly replace the
main bearing. (There is some play in it from side to side ). Not
sure if this will be something that I can replace/repair or will
have to be returned to AC.

Randy, it looks like you will have a really nice machine when you're done with it.

Randy: I loved my Air Command. I had a pod and an extended tail on it. I had a 532 in it but was having lots of problems with the aftermarket ignition on it. Many forced landings. Not the 532's fault..but the aftermarket ignition. I eventually put a new 582 bluehead in it and I went on to put 120 hours of trouble free flight on it between May and Nov of last year.

The engine manual I am going to send you was the one I used for my 532 and my new 582. It is a good manual and it may as well be in someone elses hands rather than gathering dust in my shop. :)

Looks like a good little gyro! I need to extend my tail out like you have. I plan to do so after my 2-place is completely finished and I am flying it solo with confidence.
