Can anyone help please.
A mate is fitting a Prince P Tip to his RAF 2000.
Does anyone know where he can get AN bolts to mount it.
He says he's tried places here in UK and Aircraft Spruce, but so far no luck.

Thanks

You can search back on his posts or you can try to contact him...KenSandyEggo, installed a Prince prop on his old RAF and as I recall, he also had a problem locating the hardware.

I don't recall if he paid an exorbitant price for "AN" type or if he used Gr 5 or 8 hardware. Nothing wrong with using Gr 5 or 8, IMO. I have it on my Warp Drive.

Cheers :)

I have ordered bolts from Geniune Aircraft. If there are in stock you are ok, takes awhile if they need to order.

Broomstick in the spokes. The bolt company that has long bolts available is out of stock on 7.75" bolts. 5 to 10 days for delivery, so no IVO tryout for a little while. None of the usual companies like A-S, Wag-Aero, Chief, etc. stock anything close to this long. I'm using Genuine Aircraft Hardware in central California. IVO doesn't either. Over 20 bucks EACH!!

Hi Ronnie

From memory I used the AN bolts that Ken Sandego recommended at a cost of £20 each from Light Aero Spares.

What about re drilling and sourcing metric hardware lots more choice, specs and availability.

regards Dave
