We can always be sure when we look back, know why or what "NOT" to do and try to change it..

At the scene of the crash, The local "Sheriffs Dept" had declared the area a "Crime Scene". No One of Knowledge of a Sparrow Hawk (Or GyroPlane of any mention) was allowed to inspect the area.

Later after the Coroners Office had left, a roll back wrecker was called in, took the wreckage to a junk yard. Where for 3-4 weeks it was left to the elements.
The area of the crash,, debree was left strewn around, tools, personal items buried in the dirt. Not a really nice place too leave our friends(Terry an Bills) memories.

With as many different opinions on this forum,
Who Can Learn anything to support FACT,

I wonder,, Do I really need............"PROBABLE CAUSE"

Steve I realise all that happened after the accident by "the" authorities was quite shamefull.

The solace I get is from the "wound out" rear pitch stop which, if true, does come back to a pre flight mistake, the same mistake that I was guilty off BUT lived to tell the tale.

We must design to the lowest common demoninator, the weakest link in the chain, HUMANS.

Aussie Paul. :)

I recall that there were several 5 gallon poly buckets of parts and debris collected at the crash site afterwards.

The only thing that gets attention of the "authorities" is a lawsuit claiming large damages, failure to perform duties in a manner proscribed by the regs..... etc.

After everything I have heard I know that I would have a hard time not filing one because I would want to let every agency know that if you do your job wrong you are going to pay. You leave a crash scene strewn with parts and possible evidence you are going to pay. Either do your job professionally or you pay the price.
