Look at this...cute as a bug.
This fella said the compressions are good. Had some medical problems and let the annual run out last December.
Does anybody have any experience with these?

I want one.
I already have a two place and a single place so the rational has been difficult to drum up.
I think there are a few lurkers around that have one or have flown the craft. I asked the same question you are a long while back. I think it might have been on Norms'.
What I have gathered is this:
1. A new prop helps a great deal. Only one prop upgrade is approved by the FAA (legal) but some have 'experimented' and got even better results with a non-approved prop.
2. People seem either hot or cold on them. One instructor I talked to said " the take off at 50 or 60 and they land at 50 or 60. I took this to mean they fly fixed-wing-ish.
3. Rumor has it you can rig them for jump take off ( not entirely confirmed )
4. I have talked to people that like them alot. I like the look and the fact they are FAA approved aircraft.
I have a color brochure that I bought off of ebay for the J-2. Pretty cool. I should scan it in and post it on a website.
I would be willing to partner on one if someone (or some people) close to me wanted to partner up.
