Hey, Todd. Maybe you should make a 'sticky' about posting your location on the map. Seems like we should have alot more pins!

I tried it but it does not show my pin. It may not be working.

There was a problem like that before. I think you have to put in a comment or something.

When I click “post”, nothing happens? How do you add your pin?

Tin,
You are right. I added a comment and then it worked. It looks like the only thing shown when you point to a pin is the name, comment and the flag selected, so the comment is apparently important.

Glad it worked! :D
See I am good for something sometimes! ;)
Gene, Did you try a comment?

Hi Tim,
No, not working for me. When I mouse over the “post” button it displays “Add a new entry to the GuestMap” in the lower left of the window. But when I click on the “post” button nothing happens. I don’t get any pop-up that I could enter a comment in. I assume that is what should happen? When I zoom a window pops open titled “about:blank” that is blank. That has to be an error.
I’m using I.E. 5.5 on a Windows 2000 machine so I typically don’t have any issues.
Regards,
Gene

I saw the about " blank " window and just closed it but was able to see the window behind it. It took me 3 tries to get it to post after I filled out the info but the next window was about choosing what kind of info we want emailed to us..... Did you notice the request info part of the "registration"? I clicked on one item and it didn't work I wrote everything in again and it came to that box - minus the digital information.... I chose another box and then said ok and it went through. Now I have an email that says to activate myself for the things I choose I have to click on the link - otherwise nothing will happen.... so I deleted the email.
I am wondering if it was a forced registration because it sure seemed like it to me..... jtm

Interesting. On my home computer running Windows 98 and IE 6.0 it works. When I click "post" a pop up window that says “Click a location on the map to add your entry” appears. Never got that on the other machine. When “OK” is selected on that window the mouse becomes a hand with a pushpin. When the left button is clicked a flag is planted and the information window pops open.
Not sure what the problem with the other PC is.

Gene

Vance,
At the very top of this page, click on the main title "Rotary Wing Forum". That takes you to the "Main Page" where the little globe is on the left side.

Hi Ken, Thank You for the help. When I go there I still don't get a globe. That is, in fact, where I was looking.
I sure enjoyed the fly in at your airport and it was nice to see you again. I hope to see you at Mentone or Oshkosh and see your modifications perform.
Thank You, Vance
