Rotax 532

What is the MAX RPM for the Rotax 532? Is it 6800 for 5 minutes, like the Rotax 582? What is the maximum sustainable RPM?

What EGT temperatures are you seeing at different RPMs? My EGTs are below 800 degrees at any RPM below 5000. Is that ok?

When I had a 532 the top RPM was 6500, not 6800. I think the 6800 started with the 582 (or possibly with later models of the 532).

I would not go to 6800 the 618 had a high max. I had my 532 set at 6500 tied off to a tree and get got 325 pounds of thrust with a 60 " three blade IVO. get the EGT up to 1000 min 1200 max

your EGT also depend on oil type and mixture. I Have adjusted some 532 to 6400 on the ground and on take off I have seen it got to 6500. But as soon as practical I have shave the power down to 6,000. I have work egt in hot climate to 1400 F.
