Gyro pilot dies in hospital

The pilot of a gyroplane that crashed in the state's North almost two weeks ago has died in hospital.
Fifty-one year old Geoff Jamieson suffered severe burns when his gyroplane went down at the Cranbourn Airfield near George Town on July 1.
His 67-year old passanger from Blackmans Bay in the South died at the scene.
Geoff Jamieson was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition but died on Saturday.
