Can anyone tell me how to create the Quote Boxes I see people use all the time to include someone else's previous comments into their reply. I can't figure out how to do that.
Thanks,
Gyro Doug

Hello Doug,
I do it by left clicking on the quote box on the lower right side of the post.
Thank you, Vance

Vance,
Thank you. That seems so obvious now but I hadn't noticed that.
Thanks again,

...... I can't figure out how to do that.
Thanks,
Gyro DougDoug, I suspect that you will figure this out when you click on the quote box. But you can can use the entire quote, or with some effort, just use the part that you are replying too. I like to do this since it leaves little doubt about what I'm replying too and in large posts I don't want the whole quote in my reply.
You do this by copying the quote code at the start of the quote and pasting it in at the place where you want a quote to start. You then copy the quote code at the end of the original quote and paste it at the end of the part you want to include in your reply. Delete everything else. The start and end code is inside and includes the brackets. If you click on the quote box in this note you will see how I did this with your quote.
The easiest way to do all this (especially with long posts) is to cut the entire quote and paste in Word and modify it there.
