As promised Chris, Xenon pictures

It took a while. I had too many to sort and post. I made the file names the captions and uploaded them to an AOL photo thingy. Naturally, they don't show the file names.
I think you can figure out the pictures without the descriptions.

If you click on the "slideshow" icon and set the interval to 1 sec, you get a fast paced preview and a larger picture. Plus you get to see them all in roughly a minute and a half. Sorry dial-up folks, day and a half.

I don't have that when I log on. Are they asking you to make up a name and password? Is there a "public gallery" option?

I get the AOL header Tom, which has a big ole' ERROR in it. I click on the Public Gallery and it also comes back with the big ERROR.

Tom, I signed up and your link only takes me to my pictures, not yours. There must be a link to allow people to view them. I searched gyroplane, Xenon, Tom Milton and could not find your pictures. Maybe you would be better posting them to a page on your website.

Tom is seems the AOL picture service requires you to authorize each person to view your pictures which is done using email autorization. I could not find how to make public for all members. Here are the directions I found.



Share an AOL Pictures album
Those you've chosen to share your album with will receive an e-mail containing a link to your online photo album.

The first time you share an album, you will be asked to agree to the Picture User Agreement. Click the Accept button to share your pictures.

To share an entire AOL Pictures album:
1. Open the You've Got Pictures® service by going to AOL® Keyword: Pictures.
2. Click the My Albums button.
3. In the My Pictures on AOL section, click the album you wish to share to highlight it.
4. Click the Share button.

Note: The first time you share an album, you will be asked to agree to the Picture User Agreement. Click the Accept button to share your pictures.

5. In the To: box, type the AOL® screen names or Internet e-mail addresses of the people with which you would like to share the album.
6. In the Subject: box, type the subject heading for your message.
7. In the Message: box, type a note to accompany your album.
8. Click the Share button.

To share selected pictures from an AOL Pictures album:
1. Open the You've Got Pictures® service by going to AOL® Keyword: Pictures.
2. Click the My Albums button.
3. In the My Pictures on AOL section, click the album you wish to share to highlight it.
4. Click the pictures you would like to share, then click the Share button.

If someone sends you an album, you will receive an e-mail including a link to view the album.

To view an AOL Pictures album:

Cool! I got to see them, I see the helicopters get loaded on semi trailers from the Atlanta air cargo area, They have about 100 lbs of shrink wrap on them too!

I still get the AOL header but now with Public Galleries highlighted...no gyrocopter window.

I also get "An error has occured, Please try again later."

It has been called to my attention that the pictures I posted were not credited. I took some of the pictures, Chuck Roberg and Rob Dubin provided others. Some of the "others" may have been taken by PT Kay and others as well. Thanks to all.

You're accrediting is applauded Tom...but I still can't get the pictures. All I get is an "ERROR...TRY AGAIN LATER."

Can anyone tell me what is the problem, or, can post 'em here on the forum,
or send 'em to me by e-mail?

It's been flying in the Phoenix area for the past few weeks.
It will be here in early July then on to Oshkosh and Mentone.

Harry,
It's beyond me what could be happening. I would suggest that the problem is probably your browser. I have trouble now and then. I hop over and use MSIE and that usually clears things up.

There are 80+ pictures and it would take forever to upload and download them. That's why I put them in an album. I hope it works for you.
