I take it you've never seen any of Kent's shows.

That video was shot here at the Hillsboro Air Show (presented by Standard TV & Appliance, as you can see when the parked trailer/billboard goes by in the shot). Kent Pietsch flies a 1942 Interstate Cadet.

This guy is a remarkable pilot. The crowd is wowed by the RV landing, and his plane is rigged to intentionally shed one aileron during his stunt show, but the real treat is watching his skill at flying behind the curve. He'll repeatedly get nose high and almost stopped at low altitude, then recover gracefully. Most of the people in the airshow crowd have no idea how hard it is to do what he does.

While watching the video Ron posted, I noticed a video familiar to me. I flew to Plainview Texas to an airshow back in 1983. This video is of a twin engine Partenavia This is what I saw. http://emuse.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/4061

The video is edited over in I guess Japanese? The plane was being promoted by a husband and wife team with the husband flying and the wife announcing the flight maneuvers over the PA.

Prior to this airshow, I had taken friends on roller coaster rides - none since!

Here is the NTSB report http://www8.landings.com/cgi-bin/nph-nntsb_connect?pass=12345&file=nntsb_198309.dat&pos=549339

We have a guy on this side of the USA that does the same trick, he flys a Cub and his act is the " Flying Farmer " It looks cool.

I just liked reading some of the moron comments posted under the video.
