Hi Gang,
I just joined and am in the process of buying a RAF 2000. I live in Juneau (since August 2006) and came up from Tucson, AZ to work for the Government.
I'm retired USAF, A&P/IA and a Private Pilot ASEL. I'm going to OK City to school for my job and will be getting my preliminary training with Marty Weaver.
I don't think there are many gyro pilots in Alaska so I may be starting something new...hhhmmmm...an RAF 2000 on floats?!

This is a belated Welcome Gregg as you've already made an entrance on another thread. ;)

You have to give us some photos as soon as you can...OK?!

Cheers :)

Can you get us some photos of the northern lights behind a gyro?

Thanks for the welcome. Had a buddy look over the RAF and he called to give me a thumbs-up so it looks like it's a purchase. I won't have pictures until later. The fuselage is Tweetybird yellow so I'll have to think THAT over! As for Northern Lights...I'll have to get that up in Fairbanks...we don't get much action down here in Coastal Yukon.
