I flew two hours today just taking in the view. Flew down to a friends private strip and landed. The beans in the background made a nice shot so I took one.

Stan,
As usual, nice pictures and what a nice looking private strip!
Woods? Man, you hardly have any real woods left. You should see some of our forests down here. Mississippi has about 18.5 million acres of forest. It is sometimes quite difficult to see a place that appears conducive for landing. For that reason, I fly roads a lot (IFR).
Stan, your machine really looks good. Is the blue aluminum painted or anodized?
Stan, my rebuild is nearly complete. I just got my tail and should be able to get it powder coated by Wednesday or Thursday and should be test flying it by Friday.

Chuck: Thanks for the comments. I have blue anodized parts on my RAF.
Gkad to hear you are almost back in the air. :)
Yea...not much woods up here in Ford county. The official topographical census shows 2% is wooded..the rest farm ground. I love wooded areas and my stairshop is nestled a 16 acre island of trees.
I know some think that this area is boring...but not to me cause I love to fly low over open country..and that is not boring at all. :D
I should have taken an aerial shot of that guys private strip....2000 feet...nice and smooth...and runway lights down it.

Stan, you don't know beans about flying. And if you fly low over Reading, Pa you can see the hoes on Franklin street.
