A couple of musings....

1. When you guys are doing your thrust tests, do you take into account the thrust not measured at the aft measuring device (levered bathroom scales, hydraulic gauges etc), due to downward vectoring of the foreward thrust, due to an offset TL? E.g., a HTL will push down the nosegear quite a bit, eh? So if the total thrust is to be measured you need to account for torque and resultant downward thrust measured at the nose gear, like with a scale under that too at the same time? And, I suppose, there may even be some downward forcecs acting on the mains as well??

2. Is there a prop that has a curled tip to eliminate tip vortices? Any thtrust test data available?

3. What about winglets on rotors: Anyone ever tried something to eliminate rotortip vortices? Like they do on jet wing tips?
