We are now in Louisiana driving west towards Phoenix and towing the xenon. We plan to stop a day or two in San Antonio but should be in Phoenix by next weekend and set up to give demo flights about the middle of May in Phoenix.

After a week or so there the xenon will likely be in western Colorado. We are also working on getting more machines in the US so we can accomidate all who want demo flights at either Oshkosh or Mentone.

When will you be in San Antonio? I might like to come down from Austin and take pics/video if you'll be flying.

John,

Will be in San Antonio tomorrow (Monday) and Tuesday. No flying though -- she will just be on the trailer.

You can call me at 307-221-6505 if you want to see the Xenon.

Rob,
Too bad you didn't stop by to do some flying along the beaches. No plans to fly it some along the way?

Rob, best of luck in your travels & demos!

Is she on an open trailer ?

Can you verify the thrust of the DUC over the IVO ?

Can you get the DUC props ?

Do you know what the pitch setting of that prop is on your machine ?

How many Xenons have you sold already ?

Thanks

Chirs,

Open trailer with the factory supplied cover on her- seems to be doing OK.
DUC is way better than the ivo and much much quieter as those who heard her fly can attest.
Someone posted a DUC dealer in Canada on another thread.
I think we are at 14 degrees but Raphael said it usually changes aftrer the engine is fully run in. Also we have not had a chance to balance the carbs yet so the engine is not at full power yet.

Tim- she is on the trailer til Phoenix.

We just drove the section of I-10 crossing the Atchaflaya swamp-- that bit scared the crap out of me when I flew over it before on the way to the Gonzales fly in that Rudy Graffeo hosted -- so I was happy to be on the trailer!!

Rob, Where at in Phx?? I'm assuming Buckeye? Let me know so I can fly over and meet you and look it over.

I seriously doubt it will be Buckeye. Probably Falcon or Stellar. I will let you know when we have dates and places.

Rob: I wish you the best. The Xenon is a fine machine and it will carve out its own niche I am sure.

I think the future is bright for all the 2 place gyros....and having another fine enclosed one will just help uncover this best kept secret in aviation,,,gyrocopters.

Are you going to make it to the Arlington EAA fly-in? It's the 3rd largest EAA flyin after Oshkosk and Sun'n'Fun. It's the 2nd week of July this year. Sure would love to see the Xenon there!

We would like to make it to Arlington but that is not in the cards as we are just spread a little too thin with only 1 machine in the US so far.

From a PR standpoint I would love to make it to all the major fly-ins but from a biz standpoint I think I can already sell machines faster than the factory can build them.

Our delivery time is 5 months from order to building your custom machine to shipping it over from Europe on a boat and delivering it to customers. I do not want to take more orders than I can deliver in a reasonable period of time.

We will be doing demo flights of the Xenon from Falcon field in Phoenix on Sunday- Tuesday. Our base there is the Air west hangar.

Anyone interested can call me at 307-221-6505 to arrange a demo flight.

Our delivery time is 5 months from order...

Yikes Rob! Does that mean you have to get an SLSA exemption or stop selling them by, say, September?

Paul,

Tom thinks in unlikely we will get an SLSA exemption anytime soon. We will be requesting an exemption to continue to sell ELSA's after January 2008.
