... seems to have the usually authoritative archives at Aerofiles.com confused.

"Boyette Ernest Boyette, San Francisco CA.
1982 = ??"

Mike and Ernie, they're looking to make a complete database of US aircraft. I'm stone serious -- all of 'em -- even one-offs. There's no reference to RFD at all, so you might want to give them a ping.

Many of the mysteries are known homebuilts. For instance, they refer to a copy of Steve Wittman's V-Witt that was, I'm pretty sure, written up in Sport Aviation.

There's not much on late-model gyros in there. A brief mention, for instance, of Revolution Helicopter but about Dennis's previous venture (and its continuing successor) you see only this:

"Air Command
Air Command Mfr Corp Co, no location.

Commander 19?? = 1-2pCH. No data."

There's much more on Rotorway, but it's still all out of order.

If our crowd wanted to communicate with these guys they would have more accurate information and the people who visit the site would learn more about sport rotorcraft. I nearly pinged them on Ernie and then I thought, hey, that's his business, not mine.

cheers
