Hello,
for a friend who restore an ultralight gyro:
what is the normal oil-gas ratio for a 90hp engine with regular oil and synthetic oil?
Thanks

14oz of oil to 5 gallon 100ll fuel. If you can use "Blue marble oil". :D

Mineral oil aviation nondetergent 1 quart to 6 galons
amsoil 8 oz to 5 gallons
spectro"sinthetic blend 13 oz to 5 gallons
Pensoil 13 oz to 5 gallons.
After first 5 gallons are burned then check plugs and fine tune base on color of spark plugs.

Run no oil, That way one of your problems will be solved quicker. (LOL)

The Mac engine will require 16- oz of Kendall oil to 5 gal of 100 LL. If you want your Mac to run a long time you should use BLUE MARBLE OIL at 14- oz to 5 gal 100LL.I have tried all sorts of oil for the Mac & have found that the BLUE MARBLE with give the best performance hands down! :)
