where can i find info on naca specs to learn what they mean, thanks
O.K., I will catch a lot of flak from this, but here it is. The NACA airfoils were not for use on aircraft but were samples for testing airfoil performance.
That being said, there are also errors in some of the sampling (such as tapered wing stall).
There is a book by Harry Riblett for General Aviation airfoils that explains the NACA numbering system (GA Airfoils). I find it aggresively written and very technical, but the information you want is there.
