So much for MY FAMILY. It's only right HERE! Richard, Trinity, and I.
I got to go see if I can Get this Knife out of my back now. But looking on the Bright side I get to Just sit under the Oak Tree at BD Days, now that I will Enjoy.

Richard,/M.J
It was a pleasure working with the both of you. Maybe just maybe this was a good thing given the status of your health and of Trinity's problem's pray that all will be good for the three of you. As I well know Sunstate can and is a large responsibility for some one who has to work for a living. I know that you enjoyed it as much as I did but now may be the time for some one else to take over. Burn out is a sure fire thing when you have to devote all of your spare time to running anything.I was relieved to have the load from my shoulders when you all took over. So kick back and let the new admin. take over and get some fresh new ideas and faces while you rest. God bless you and Sunstate.
Bud

Yes Bud I agree with what you said. It is how it was handled that bothers me.
I guess I just got to attached to people that I thought where Friends and Family. This could of been done a better way. Each Year I tryed to get anyone to step up to the plate, but to have it done in this Manner is what Hurts.
I now Know who my Friends and Family really are and I treasure them as I will always Love You. Take Care MJ :)

MJ,
We really appreciate everything you and Catfish have done. I think Bud's right. You've got a lot going on and your time and energy shouldn't be exhausted on planning fly-ins. You can now relax a little and spend more time socializing. Looking forward to seeing you at Bensen Days.

Maybe now you and catfish can spend a little more time under the Oaks with the fiddle and guitar players and have a couple more beers without the responsiblies. We are ALL still your family. If you don't feel like keeping us up with your and Trinity's progress on the forum any more, I, for one would appreciate a private e-mail to know how you are doing. We love ya.

Tom we will always be in touch with you. Thanks for the kind words.
The Vote was 11 for Scott 2 for Catfish and Me, out of 106 members. I am the most upset as I did not see this coming. Ernie held the meeting. I will always Remember. Going out to Immokalle to Fly Today. Catfish is looking to buy a PPC and we will go from there. Take Care. We Love Ya MJ:) PS Thanks for the Great Tunes your Good. I always Enjoyed our Chats and your Friendship.

Mj, in post #4 you mentioned my name.... I am not sure if I am on your good list or bad list, just hope it is the good list. :)

for the record, I obviously could not vote for anyone since I am not a club member, and I wasn't even at the meeting when the vote itself took place - was next door ordering a pizza for dinner -

I did suggest that Sunstate have FOUR officers, FOUR people total..... Pres, Vice Pres, Tres, Sec..... Sunstate has had one person doing the job of two officer positions for a long time, and now after this election STILLS has one person filling the slots of two people - Sherry Lewis.

Four officers, and several other board of directors in a club can take the work load and burden of running the club and spread it amongst many people rather than just 2 or 3 people. Of course you already know this!

Anyway, it really sounds like you and Catfish are upset about how things went down. Just know that in my opinion, the decision to make a new board for sunstate at this meeting was more along the lines of what Bud said in his post #5 above, and certainly not to stab you guys in the back.

I sure hope you guys can get a chance to peacefully talk with everyone who was at the meeting and see what was discussed, it was not a easy thing to do, and I know there was several attempts to try to get ahold of you guys before the meeting took place.

I also hope that you see that everyone cares about you both and hopes to see you at Bensen Days, and not just for a few hours one day! Finally after all these years you have the chance to enjoy Bensen Days without the stress of having to Run the fly-in... you can relax and socialize... Catfish can put the blades on his gyro and Fly the fields with us!!!! It will be good times I tell ya!

ps, I can't see Catfish enjoying a powered parachute! He is a gyropilot!!!
