If you look at the picture in my avatar, you can see the control tubes from the cyclic go straight up to the T-bar of the gymbal head.

However, I have size 14 feet, and the control tubes bang my ankles when the cyclic moves left or right. Kind of a dangerous situation, in my book.

Anyway - What kind of push-pull cables can I use, and does anyone have any experience with them?

I have the cyclic stick and gymbal from an old UH-1 that I would like to work.

Other ideas?

maybe try the telflex cables, like are used on the Rotorway Exec. to control the swashplate, they use 2 cables at each point as a redundancy system.

just something you can look into.
