Hi, I have followed a few websites to here; where it seems that quite a few of your members are using the same configuration of subaru EJ22 in their rotorcraft as I am in my project. I am using an electroair dual (single plug) ignition and an F1 Airflow FI unit. I really don't know where to post for info on the ignition (being fixed wing and all) and out of my element. Any suggestions? I do realize that was a loaded question.

I'd think you'd have the best luck starting such a thread under either "Builders Corner" or "Engines".

Barrie, I had 2 Electroair ignitions with plug-joiners and the Airflow Performance FI system on my 2.2 Soob and both were extraordinary products with never a problem. I thought the Airflow was acting up once, but the very last thing I checked was the culprit...a spark plug gone bad.

What questions do you have about the ignition?

:yo: Hi Ken, I'm starting to get that warm fuzzy feeling already. This seems to be a great site. What I am really looking for is initial installation drawings or?. I purchased my engine from another fellow who was going to put it in an Avid Flyer but decided not to proceed with the project. This engine was purchased as basically "ready to install" from Formula Power who I understand is no longer in the business. I did get some information from the fellow but there are many things that I don't have such as a wiring diagram and placement for the second magnetic sensor. I am at this stage now and haven't been able to obtain the installation manual from Electroair. They tell me that they have moved on from that (mid 90's) unit and no longer have those manuals. Any suggestions?
