Motorcycle Headset?

What do you guys recommend for radio and headset combinations? I have a helmet, but no audio in it. Can I use motorcycle audio helmet inserts and mics with the aeronautical radios? Or do I need to spend $1000 for a helmet w/earpieces and mic boom, and radio?

actually you could spend alot less, Barry has listed a 2 helmet and intercom system in the for sale section, quite a bit cheaper too.

I bought a chatterbox mc setup and it came with no tech data - couldn't get it to hookup to the aircraft radio other than to hear the audio. I have used comtronics stuff and was really impressed with the audio. Much better than my old sigtronics headset and mic.
