New Video UP
I posted the old, classic Ken Brock training 8mm film (in two parts)
Worth watching for the music alone. It's an interesting look at how gyros fly and all about the power curve.

Good demonstration on steering and rotor management. Did Ken plate his shiny gyro parts or were they just polished aluminum?

I seem to remember he actually had them chrome plated. Ken was aware of hydrogen embrittlement and had them baked out.

Very interesting movies.
What is he flying in that film ? a KB2 ?
Does anyone know what the thrust offset is on it ?

Tom, great training film. Where do you get this stuff? Have you aquired them over the years?

I do have an extensive gyro video collection that I have amassed over the last 30+ years. I waited too long to convert some of them to digital. Some are losing the oxide off the film already.
