Before I destroy my hands by assembling and disassembling Azusalite nylon wheels can somebody share their knowledge how to do it right. I put one together (my poor fingers). Then somebody mentioned about a liner. So,I need some giant to disassembeled it (looks like tires decided to stay there for ever). Tell me ,please, all your tricks and stuff you use.
Thank you . Georgi.

These rims area pain in the butt to use --that being said I have used them for eight years--and I like them . As for a liner -- you WILL need to make a liner to cover the gap that will delelop between the halves over time --if you dont use one the tubes will wear and they wont last. I cut a "ring "approx 2" wide from a 1 gallon bleach bottle and fitted it to one side before getting the second side together. I personally use KY Jelly to lube up all the parts before assy --see there is a second use for this product!--

Georgi,

When you put the tires back together, if you don't have any KY jelly (and I don't wanna know if you do :) ), you can use baby powder.

Stick the tube in the tire and partially inflate it, enough to get the wrinkles out of the tube. Sprinkle a little baby powder on the wheel halves and a little on the tube. It should allow the rim halves to come together without pinching the tube.

Hate!!!!
hate!!!!
Kill!!!!

These wheels were designed by someone who loves punishment!!
The biggest problem with the nylon wheels is that over time they turn into a triangular wheel instead of a round one.
They are impossible to keep a tube in with out a liner,
The aluminum ones are the same, only they stay round. Too bad we can't find a cheaper Heger style wheel.

Not really sure how to make assembly of the azusalite easy but thanks for the info on a liner. Got 4 mounted up for the little wing slinger. Normal axel 6 inch and the trainer axel 4 inch (for the caster forks) for the boom tow. The bolt on gokart brake assy for these wheels is a plus ( 5 and 6 inch only) BTW my 6 inch gokart aluminum wheels are lighter and the hub assembly is better although the wheels and tire combo is wider and hence more drag and more expense (tires about 50.00 ea.)
