Gee John..... Already to start another project and still haven't flown solo yet!

MHO, is to wait till you have flown your machine a bit, and attend Bensen Days and maybe even Mentone next year before starting on number two. You will have a chance to see many more machines then and after flying yours for a while you might have a better time making a sound choice on which style you want to throw - I mean Invest ;) - all that money into.

If you want a nice two seat project, conmtact Maxie Wildes. He has a two place minus engine ready to fly otherwise at a heck of a good price.

Hey Ron,

Maxie has a 2 place what?

IMHO, I'll spend my money how I want too. I know a guy who brings a Sonex to a Gyro meet :o

I think he still has my horse towel ;D

I'm going nuts waiting for days I can meet up with Steve, and I have nothing to do but work. If I don't find another project soon, I'll have to talk to my wife ;)

I know I want a 2 place eventually, and at the rate my KB-2 is going, I'm in no fear of finishing the next project before I solo.

But thanks for the financial concern.

John, my advise is more to do with picking the right machine than money issues.

Maxie has a trainer just like the one you rode in at ROC for sale minus a engine. Ask him about the price. Last I heard it was still for sale and at a bargin price for a brand spanking new gyro, especially one already built.

And John, take some time off work bro! You can knock that training out in a few short days! I did it at Bensen Days 2001. Then you can come flying with us!!!

I do have your horsey towel. It is safe and sound at the hangar ;D

Hey Ron,

I got the time, Trying to schedule with Steve is tough. He can't do anything untill after 3:30 pm and it's a 2 hour ride for me.

When it cuts into family time is where scheduling is difficult. I'm involved with my wife and daughter with cheerleading and Girl Scouts and just about every evening, something is going on.

I had to schedule my next training day for Sunday.

As far as the type machine goes, I've nevered followed the crowd. Hence my interest in the Little Wing. I like the Pitbull, but there performance isn't what it's cracked up to be.

I had no idea the Marchetti was a poor performer that almost killed Jamie.

I'm not apposed to building another Bensen type for my brother. I just wanted a two place and didn't know anything about a Marchetti, that's why I asked.

As far as Maxie goes, I don't think I would be interested in an already built gyro...It depends on my mood, but I had alot of fun building the KB-2.

Maxie's machine is built but still would require plenty of work - and a engine! - to get flying. You can certainly paint the thing Bright Orange if you wanted to! ;)

The little wing is great, If you got the time - lot's of it - I would not think twice about building one.

A few more weeks and Steve will be Full Time gyro instructor!

So tell me......... Hmmmm, Let's see........ How old is your Daughter? 8)

p.s. I like Girl Scout Cookies. Send me a box or two of the Shortbread Cookies. ;D ;D ;D

Hey John.... Does that mean I can't get any Shortbread cookies? ;D ;D ;D

I am teasing you. Where is Ken J. anyway? I haven't seen a post from him on any forum in days. Are there still wild fires in his area? I am not up on non local news lately.

Oh I dressed up as a dad who steals all the candy my 9 month old son can't eat kinda person. What did you go out as? Oh wait let me guess......... Hmmm...... you put on a Black trench coat...... Got the biggest bright Orange Pumpkin you could find........ Carved it out all scary like........ Put it on your head...... And got on your gyro - since it all matches - and terrorized the neighborhood by running up and down the streets as the headless gyropilot! lol
