My local EAA Chapter 610 has given me my first award for my Twinstarr. It is for the restoration & first flight on Oct 1 2006. Chapter 610 is a very active group of craftsmen that I`m very proud to be a part of. We have many antique , homebuilt , & rotorcraft projects going on.

Hey, I'll bet you're proud. Did you build the AC tandem you sold to Paul P, Minigun Man here?

That is a great looking award as well. I know this is a proud moment for you Rick.
Ps. I do not see a "Mighty Mac" pushing that lovely aircraft. :D :focus:

Greg, I did not build the Tandem. I fixed some things in question & flew it , then sold to Paul. Paul told me he had replaced more stuff, what I don`t know. He flew it more than I did.

Harry, I have flown it several times & keep tweeking the blades. Its getting a little better.
Mark, No Mac on this machine. I will tell you that the first gyro ride I ever had was with Bill Parsons in his two place with a Super Mac!

Rick, great job! I am sure it will probably be one of many awards you win with that one. that is a great looking machine for sure.

Rick, it's terrific to win an award, but even more impressive for any gyro to win an award from an EAA chapter. Congrats on both, and nice job all around!

Rick,
Congradulations. If you bring it to Bensen Days I'll bet it has a good chance of winning another one.
