Hi all
Im at the stage of putting on the seat belt, Ive got a four point harness and Im wondering how to mount the shoulder harnesses any pics would be appreciated. The other probelem Ive run into is my lap belt seems a bit too short and Im thinking of using a 6 inch long 1" strip of 1/8" Stainless each side of the Mast/Keel cluster plate to make up the length. Maybe someone may have other ideas. Im thinking of possibly using the cable portion of some commercial vehicle and car seat belts installations if i can find the right one.

Thanks
Paddy

I've got a 4 point on the "Margaritaville".

First, you want to make sure the mounts are all LOW.

If a mast comes off and you have your shoulder straps mounted high...it could cut your head off!

I made brackets for the lap belts and attached them to the sides off the mast to keel gusset area and then made a clamp assembly to hold the shoulder straps and mounted it to the main mast as low as I could get it.

Thanks Barry,
Ill make up some clamps for the upper mount for the shoulder straps.just trying to figure out how to make the lap belt longer (its 5' in total).
