Barry lifted off yesterday 13.5.2004 in Athens(Greece) en route to Cyprus. He landed to refuel at Myconos and later on Kos. Due to strong headwind he had to stop at Rhodes (Greek islands). This morning very early he departed direction Cyprus where he landed safely after a trip of over 3hours above the Mediterranean See. On his final leg he flew at over 170km/hr!
Since his start he flew already more then 3.830 Km.

For a map of his route today : See Global Eagle route - maps http://www.autogiro.be/Gallery/thumbnails.php?album=34

Why do you think, Paul, that crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a rowboat or circling the Planet in a gyro seems to be the exclusive domain of Englishmen?

Could it have something to do with the consumption of warm beer?
