View Full Version : RAF construction videos needed
The kit I bought did not include the videos for construction. Just checked with RAF, and they want $225 for the set. Struggling with some of the directions, and know the video would clear things up. But hate to spend that much for needing maybe one third or less of the set.
My machine currently has: cabin on complete running gear, with rudder and engine mounts installed. Rudder cables, and trim system installed. Carpet in.
Would anyone be willing to do one of two things for me:
Sell me your videos at a reduced price.
Loan or rent me the videos I need to see. I will pay all shipping both ways, regardless of whether it's a loan or rental. And I'll return them to you when finished.
Email me privately if you can assist, or post here, whichever you feel better doing.
Thanks,
Mark

Good Man Stan!!!!!!!!:peace:
A very personal thanks, Stan. Honestly didn't think of you having them, figured they went with the old machine when you sold it.
Can't wait until they get here!

I will ship them tomorrow or Friday. I need your address...
Also....whenever you need my tracking bars.....I will fly them over. Gives me a good excuse for another "MISSION"...

I have 5 that came with my RAF I just purchased. These are 1995 and do not even cover many upgrades to my aircraft. I really need a set also and would be happy to cover copy/shipping cost. thanks..jack

What can I say...Stan M' Man beat me to it. Very helpful.
After reading through this thread, I got to thinking...the tapes I have really don't contain much help in construction; the manual either. They spend entirely too much time on the door installation and the seat upholstering.
The tapes were excellent in showing the assembling of the rotorhead and Bendix, the pre-rotator and some of the engine installation.
I don't know what the newer tapes are like...better than the old ones, I hope.
Mark...When you do have a question, bring it on here and I'm sure someone will be able to help you.
Cheers :)

Anyone else who may need RAF videos; I have two sets. One came with my kit in 2002 and I purchased the " new & improved " set 2 years later. While they are not for sale; they can be on a long term loan for postage only. Tom T. Hall in MN
