I am curious why Todd is all quiet.......

Could the forums future be in danger or is a deal in the works to turn this into a commercial thing with advertisements and other evil stuff ?

Wonder whats up.

Tremor in the force.....

Nothing to Worry About.

Todd's Life is just incredibly busy. Besides my two full time jobs (I work 70-80 hours a week) I've also been working very hard to get lots of projects finished at my house. We built a new home last year and I took on the project of building a shop. Its 24 x 40 with attic trusses so it will have a 12 x 40 "Man Room" upstairs. Because of covenants, it has to match the house so it is stick framed and basically I'm building a small house in my back yard.

Besides that, Shannon and I have 4 daughters who have a million things going on, including the oldest, Ashlee who is getting married next May. We have lots of sporting events and school activities that fill our "idle" time.

As if things weren't busy enough, after working at the same Steak House for the past 7 years, the last 4 as General Manager, my wife and I decided she should strike out on her own. We've signed a letter of intent with the property owner and hope to have a neighborhood bar and grill open in the next 120 days. If things weren't busy enough, they just got a whole lot busier. I've spent the last week on my computer working very hard to create a business plan, budget, income projections etc. etc.

However, with all that said, I still check the forum several times a day. I also answer numerous "tech support" e-mails and try to find a resolution for those having problems. I will admit, I do get a little frustrated at times, because the majority of e-mails are issues that people could figure out themselves if they would just try. ie. "Please reset my password" and "How do I post a new thread?". These are the top two.

Anyway, the forum is not going anywhere. I still enjoy running it and look forward to reading it every day.

At first I saw the separation as a warning sign of psychosis, and then I realized you were speaking of Todd’s life with all the players together as not in your control, but affecting your actions.

Todd, I am grateful both you and Todd’s life are connected to my life. You are an inspiration for me to be better.

Thank you, Vance

Todd,

Let me know where you are so I can have a new place for chow here. I can throw a little in the old tip jar for the fourms while I am there. Besides, sounds like you might have that whole steak cookin buiss down and I love a good chunk-o-beef. If I can help, let me know.

So the rumor of a Rotary Wing Bar and Grill in Spokane are true!
It is also rumored that in the business plan, there is a yearly gyro fly in that is expected to be a huge financial boost to this bar and grill.

That mystical source of energy that fuels our minds.....

Todd, your post explains everything. I understand now.

What I was seeing,

1. New job with no time for the forum, (4 girls my goodness)

2. cheesy ad's (eat at joes crab shack) kind of myrtle beach stuff)....your going to open a bar and grill !

3. Your killing yourself running 14 different directions

Glad your ok and the wheels / rotors here will continue to turn ....

In addition to all of the above, Todd is both a full-time Spokane, WA city firefighter, and president of the firefighters credit union.

In his spare time, Todd sometimes finds an opportunity to blink! :)
